"Garald E. Coffey, 48, of 980 Larkaway Ct., VA Beach, died Jauary 6, 1991. He was the husband of NOrma Nuckles Coffey.

Born in Norfolk, he was the son of Evelyn Saunders Coffey and the late Herbert Coffey. He was a former employee with the Army Corp. of Engineers for nineteen years and presently was employed with the U.S. Coast Guard and was a Virginia Registered Professional Engineer.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daghters, Melanie Dawn Coffey and Tammy Lynn Coffey, both of Va. Beach; a brother, Richard Coffey of Amherst.

A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, Jan. 10, 1991 in Diuguid Rivermont Chapel by the Rev. C. Douglas Pillow. Interment will be in Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 8 to 9 p.m."
