"I only knew Fred for a short time. He pledged in the Spring of '69 and I graduated in the summer of 1969. Most of us envied Fred. He was good looking, smart (Chemical Engineer), and drove an Austin Healy 3000 sports car. The only things more beautiful than that car were the girls Fred dated! We thought he had it made.

Unfotunately, Fred was the first Pi Kappa brother to die, in 1980, after drugs and head demons became too much of a burden. What a waste.

God Bless you Fred, you left us too early."- Mike Hammes, Winter '67 3/26/16
