Robert T. Trafton was born on February 21, 1939 and died on August 28, 1998 at the age of 59. Bob attended elementary and high schools in Tidewater Virginia and was a member of the Class of 1962 at Virginia Polytechnic Institute in Blacksburg where Bob was a member of the Corp of Cadets and a Charter member and first President of Pi Kappa Fraternity. Bob and Dianne Gooden, the first Pi Kappa Sweetheart, were married and resided in Va. Beach, VA. Bob enjoyed an illustrious career as a pilot in the U.S. Navy. Bob is survived by his wife Dianne and son, Robert T. Trafton, Jr.
